The origin of Thrive in Spanish
Thrive in Spanish was born from my own experience as a language student. Before becoming a teacher, I was also on the other side learning English, attending classes where I knew the rules but didn’t feel confident enough to speak.
During that time, I felt frustrated, afraid of making mistakes, and disconnected. I realized the problem wasn’t a lack of effort, but the way languages are often taught: rigid methods that forget there’s a human being behind every student.
That’s when a clear idea took shape. If I ever taught Spanish, I wanted to do it differently. I wanted to create a space where people felt supported, heard, and safe enough to try, even if they made mistakes.
That’s how Thrive in Spanish was born: as an honest response to that experience, built on empathy, culture, and a deep desire to help others communicate with confidence.

The purpose that drives me
The word Thrive was not chosen by chance. To me, learning a language is not just about understanding it, it’s about growing through it.
I truly believe Spanish is a doorway to new cultures, deeper connections, and meaningful experiences. With Thrive in Spanish, my purpose is to support each person so they don’t just learn the language, but feel confident using it in real life.

I’m a Spanish teacher, content creator, and the founder of Thrive in Spanish. A few years ago, I started recording videos about everyday life in Mexico: the people, the culture, and the stories that make this country so fascinating.
What began as a hobby quickly turned into my passion: helping people understand and truly connect with Mexico through language.
That’s how Thrive in Spanish was born, an online academy designed to teach Spanish in a real, human, and cultural way.
My goal is to help you speak confidently, sound natural, and fall in love with the language while discovering the soul of Mexico.
