Querétaro has it all: perfect weather, centuries of history, beautiful architecture, low crime rates and a low cost of living. Find out why I chose Querétaro over more famous cities like Guadalajara, Merida, or Mexico City and why Queretaro is the perfect city for me. Mexico is full of beautiful cities, full of gorgeous colonial architecture, good weather and great food, so why did I decide to move to Querétaro? There are so many things about Mexico that you can't find anywhere else in the world. During my time living in Vietnam and the UK, I realised how much my home country of Mexico has to offer and what I was missing out on! Now I'm back in Mexico, I'm taking advantage of everything and I want to share this with you.  Let me show you what I love about living in Mexico and everything this country has to offer.

I never thought I could get culture shock in my own country! Moving back to Mexico after a year and a half in Vietnam and the UK, I've started to see things differently. I don't understand Mexicans anymore! I'm Mexican and I'm living in the beautiful city of Queretaro. Living in Mexico after living in other countries has given me reverse culture shock. Mexico is home to such rich and diverse cultures. I'm very proud to be a Mexican and my Mexican roots.
